About us

A family cooperative built on unity and hard work

Serving Dumbola, Banz and surrounding communities in Jiwaka Province.

Mamde Family Co-operative Society Ltd is a family cooperative based in Dumbola Village, Dumbola Ward One, North Waghi Rural LLG, North Waghi District, Banz, Jiwaka Province, Papua New Guinea.

The cooperative was formed so that family members could work together rather than alone. Through farming, livestock production, shared resources, skills development and market opportunities, members combine what each household can contribute into something stronger.

Our attention is on four practical outcomes: food security for member households, improved household income, sustainable rural development, and healthier community livelihoods in and around Dumbola.

The cooperative is governed by its own rules and leadership. Membership, decisions and records are handled according to those rules.
