Livestock
Well-kept animals, healthy households, reliable supply
Piggery, poultry and other smallholder livestock suited to family farms in the Highlands.
Livestock gives member families protein at home and income in the market. The cooperative focuses on animals that suit smallholder conditions in the Highlands — mainly pigs and poultry — and on doing the basics well.
Good husbandry, clean housing, safe water, consistent feeding and careful record keeping matter more than large numbers. As member capacity grows, so does the flock and herd.
Where an activity is still being developed, we say so. We do not publish production figures or claim capacity we have not yet built.
